In The Spirit of Taize: A Wellness Retreat Celebrating the Love of God

To begin this retreat we'll say “Good morning” with a yoga class including readings from spiritual texts and poems to nourish our hearts. Kathy Pforr, Director of Pastoral Care at Lutheran Hospital in Cleveland, will lead prayer and songs and Joanne Fox and Michael Curtis will provide the traditional Taize music. The music is like a meditative prayer, which naturally leads to quiet reflection. We will join together in walking meditation up the hillside to the open meadow above the honeycombs and let our voices join with the crickets and birds. Spa Director, Dave Pratt, will give simple guidance in walking meditation and will teach participants easy Self-Breema exercises and Breema Partner Bodywork sequences for increased inner quiet and vitality. Chef Scott Fetty is creating sumptuous and vitalizing meals for a memorable lunch and dinner on Saturday. Rates and more details here.
